The issues that were presented regarding the economic impacts cover remittances and return migration. As for the non-economic impacts, the research focuses on the relationship between the diasporas, brain drain and the quality of institutions at home. All these issues are examined from both the efficiency and redistributive angles and situated in the context of the global and the Euromed contexts.
